Paskuqan is about 3.7 km north of Skanderbeg Square, across the Tirana river. It is not part of the Municipality of Tirana: since 2015 it has been an administrative unit of Kamëz municipality, bordering the capital’s Units no. 4 and no. 11.

What is in the area

Paskuqan Lake Park covers 84 hectares, with a 5.2 km circular promenade, playgrounds, cycle lanes, sports fields and a summer amphitheatre completed in 2025.

Housing and history

Paskuqan has grown greatly since 1990: from about 3,500 residents in 1989 to about 34,400 in the 2023 census. The northern extension of Bulevardi i Ri is planned to reach the Tirana river, in the direction of Paskuqan.
